Thank you for your interest in our first Travel Log e-book, dealing
with our two travels to Mexico in 2009. This webpage
describes the PDF
version of our e-book and how you can purchase your own copy.
This version is copy-protected and can not be viewed on another
computer after it has been installed (but do not worry as we
will support our customers if they wish to move the e-book to
another computer as after all the key is your reading pleasure).
The e-book file can only be installed upon a computer running a
genuine copy of "Microsoft Windows" or a very good emulation of
it (like on an Apple Macintosh)
Please Note: at the bottom of this page is information that discusses the second
book in the Travel Log Series, "The Search for the Blue Skull in
Peru" including an online form to fill out if you would
like for us to contact you when
this next e-book is available which is expected in the summer of
2012. If you fill out the form below, you will be returned
to this webpage.
(Note for Apple Macintosh owners - Apple released a
program called "Boot Camp" which will allow you to run "MS
Windows" on your Mac, since both systems use Intel chips but you
have to have a legal version of "Windows". There are other
companies who offer a type of desktop visualization or a
software simulation
Windows, but we can not guarantee outside of "Boot Camp" if our
system for this e-books works as it use a .exe program to
install your e-book on your computer.)
Below you will find the "Buy Now" button that links to Paypal to
allow you to purchase
your copy. Also it is assumed that you have a copy of either
Adobe Reader (version 7 or higher which is free) or Adobe Acrobat so you can
read your e-book. We are told there are other companies who
provide PDF readers that
your e-book can be read by but using Adobe is the best solution.
When paying for our e-book through Paypal, either you already have a
Paypal account or you can pay with a credit card even if you do
not have a Paypal account.
After you complete
your payment on-line, you will be able to download your new
e-book directly from your browser. Here are the two
screens you will see next after your payment is completed with a description
of what to do:
(For this screen, all you need to do is type in your email

and click the "Send" button, this
provides us a way to contact
you and your email is linked to
your e-book)

click your right mouse button and select "Save (Target/Link) As"
and then you will be asked where you wish save your e-book
file
upon your computer.

executable (.exe) file which you will
run to
install your
e-book on your computer (directions are shown below).

How to Install your e-book?
Once you have
copied your e-book onto your computer, just run or execute the file as shown above
in the download window, called - CSE-TL1-Mexico2009-May2012.exe.
This will setup on your computer the e-book (as a pdf file) and
there will be an icon added to your desktop that you can click
on when you wish to read your e-book in Adobe Reader (or Acrobat).
After
we receive from Paypal a
record of your payment for the e-book, we will then send these instructions
to you again via email. We discuss this setup procedure here
for your e-book so you can see how
simple it is to install your e-book on your computer.

All you have to do is just
click on this icon for your e-book and it will automatically open
up Adobe Reader/Acrobat to read your e-book. Your e-book will perform
and function exactly as
any other PDF file does. If you wish you can print a copy
of your e-book too. So it is very simple to download and
install your e-book.
