Agricultural Terraces of Machu Picchu

Unlike other ruins found around the world, Machu Picchu is perfectly intact. The only work necessary to make this city again habitable would be to put roofs on the houses. The University has close to three thousand steps, giving acces to plazas, altars, rooms and terraces.

There is a balance between the feminine and the masculine energy in Machu Picchu, the left side of the city is consider the male side where we will find the agricultural terraces where the ancient inhabitants raised their crops

Distant view of Sacred Plaza

Another special place is a square (the Sacred Plaza) surrounded by several temples: The Temple of the Three Windows is impressive with its cyclopean walls, its three trapezoidal windows and the grandeur of its outline; and the Central Temple which includes seven niches. Turning to the left one receives to the majesty of the Ornament Room were an enormous stone stands at the entrance wall has 23 angles.

From here a step way take us to Intiwatana ("where the Sun is tied"), undoubtedly one of the most fascinating and mysterious places in Machu Picchu, especially to experience its vibration and the presence of extraterrestials. We always take a time to visit in Intihuatana to meditate and connect with our space brothers and sisters.

Here we see the solar astronomical observatory or sun dial used for ceremonial purposes as well as this area is the highest point of the city, where their inhabitants developed the sudy of the Universe and were able to develop the calendar, dividing the year into 365 days, 52 weeks, 12 months, the months into days, the days into 24 hours, and the hours into 60 minutes, exactly as we know it today.
