Machu Picchu Journey
October 18 to 26, 1999

Price & What's Included:

Since this journey is being offered under special circumstances, we have lowered our prices as much as possible in order to provide an opportunity to everyone that has ever dreamed of experiencing Machu Picchu in a Sacred Way. But time is running out! November starts the rainy season in Peru, which would make this journey very challenging. Since the rainy season does not end until the following Spring in March or April, I fear that by then the qualities of what we have today in Machu Picchu will no longer be available to us.

The price of JOURNEY TO MACHU PICCHU (October 9th to 18th) is US$1,999 per person for double and triple occupancy. We can't guarantee single rooms, however we can try and, if available, plan an additional cost of US$500. This price includes:

(1) flights from: Miami to Lima, Lima to Cusco, Cusco to Lima, Lima to Miami
(2) hotel accommodations
(3) breakfasts
(4) private bus transportation
(5) tickets to all Temples mentioned in Cusco
(6) fare on the comfortable tourist train to Machu Picchu
(7) four entrance tickets for Machu Picchu - including Full Moon Celebration
(8) ticket to Ollantaytambo Temple
(9) all meditations, rituals, and traditional ceremonies during the entire journey
(10) the special participation of an Andes Priest/Shaman
(11) a Peruvian, spiritually-oriented guide who speaks English.
(12) and our tour coordinator Vera Shapiro who speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Depending upon the number of participants attending, we may be able to invite a Native America medicine woman/man, a Mayan Priest, and a Tibet Monk to join the Peruvian Shaman during our ceremonies.

What isn't Included:

Things not included in the price of this Journey are:

(1) your flight from home to Miami;
(2) airport taxes (International and National);
(3) meals and items of a personal nature, such as laundry, beverages, etc.;
(4) tips/gratuities* (*Notes on Tips/Gratuities) All of our tour guides, drivers, and helpers during the trip such as baggage carriers in/out of the hotel and airport and etc ... are normally tipped by the individual, however, if the group decides together that they prefer not to be bothered with tips all the time during the journey, a tip-fee of $50 per passenger will be collected in our first day in Lima, and Vera will take care of all tips and gratuities for the entire trip. This is the procedure other groups have done in the past, and it has been much more convenient.
